Paula Ortiz

Account Executive

As an account executive, Paula can assist with your insurance needs. Contact Paula for help with your renewals, account servicing, claims, and audits. Paula will also provide support with your certificates, endorsements, and billing.

Valeri is a California native and has spent her time between Santa Maria and San Diego. She attended Mesa College and graduated in 1998 with an AA in Psychology. While in school, she volunteered for one year at Juvenile Hall, San Diego. Valeri began her insurance career as a customer service representative in 1998 at a large independent insurance brokerage. The agency realized her potential and promoted her to service lead; it is here that Valeri gained extensive experience in servicing insurance clients, which remains one of her many strengths today. After spending three years in service, Valeri obtained her property & casualty license. She then worked as an independent broker, and over the next nine years, built a very successful “team” of sales and service representatives. In 2010, Valeri began planning the start of her new agency. To become fully prepared, she studied and obtained her CRIS license (Construction Risk Insurance Specialist). Today, Valeri can assist in many areas of commercial lines insurance, including:

Valeri is an active member of UNICO and a co-founder of the San Diego Italian Chamber of Commerce. In her spare time, Valeri enjoys spending time with family and friends, along with traveling. She likes to work out and watch sports. Further, she is active in charity (5K races) and volunteers for various community events.
