Kara joins many of her Fusco and Orsini colleagues as a San Diego native and graduate of San Diego State University, where she earned a Bachelor of Arts degree with a specialization in mathematics.

She was named Office Accountant for Fusco and Orsini Insurance Services in January 2016. Kara began her career in insurance at Progressive as a Claims Adjuster handling auto accident liability and evaluating vehicle repairs. After a few years, she stepped away from her career to raise her three children. When her children reached school age, she decided to reenter the workforce – good fortune for the Fusco team.

Growing up, she was an avid softball player, playing in high school and on competitive travel teams. In her spare time, she enjoys watching sports, reading, and camping with family and friends. Most weekends are spent watching both of her daughters play softball while her son enjoys riding his bike and playing with friends.
